Established in 1996, G Bar has become one of Liverpool’s most iconic and enduring LGBT+ venues. What began as a single-room afterhours space on Eberle Street, originally serving as an extension of the legendary Garlands nightclub, quickly evolved into a multi-room destination, growing into the city’s largest and most diverse LGBT+ nightclub.
Over the decades, G Bar has built a reputation for championing inclusivity, self-expression, and cutting-edge music. Its underground house sound and vibrant drag entertainment have attracted both local talent and internationally renowned DJs, helping the venue remain at the forefront of Liverpool’s nightlife scene. Notably, former residents include one half of CamelPhat Dave Whelen, The Vivienne, John Cotton, Lauren Lo Sung, and guests such as Enzo is Burning, Jodie harsh, Mousse T., Gok Wan, CASSIMM, Hector Couto, Sam Divine, and many more.
